How to buy from Planet Tachyon
How ordering works in the manufacturer's official shop, what to check before you pay, and where else to buy if you live in Slovakia or the Czech Republic.
Updated · Tomáš Sokol
Planet Tachyon is the official online shop of the manufacturer, Advanced Tachyon Technologies in California. The "Visit shop" buttons on this site take you there. They are affiliate links: if you buy something, I get a small commission, and you pay the same price.
Step by step
- Open the shop using a button on this site. It opens in a new tab.
- Pick a product and add it to the cart. With disks, check the size and whether it's one-sided or double-sided.
- In the cart, check the delivery country, the shipping cost, and the currency.
- Enter your delivery address exactly as the courier needs it, including a phone number.
- Pay by card or another method the shop offers. You'll get a confirmation by email.
The shop comes in several languages. If a translation reads oddly, switch to English, which is the original.
What to check before you pay
- Shipping and customs. Where your order ships from depends on the manufacturer's current logistics. If it ships from a warehouse outside your country's customs area (for EU buyers, outside the EU), you may owe import VAT and duty. The shop should show this at checkout.
- Returns. You'll find the return conditions in Planet Tachyon's terms and conditions. When you buy from the USA, your local consumer rules (in the EU, EU consumer law) don't automatically apply the way they would with a shop based in your own country or in the EU.
- Product names. The manufacturer uses protection and health claims in its names and descriptions ("5G", "immunity"). Those are its claims, not verified properties.
If you shop in Slovakia or the Czech Republic
If you're buying in Slovakia or the Czech Republic and want local terms and customer support in your own language, Tachyon products are also available at Flexity.sk and Flexitylife.cz. I run Flexity, so I'm not neutral here. The range and prices differ from Planet Tachyon, so it's worth comparing.
Flexity also has an English shop at Flexitylife.eu, but it sells pilates and yoga equipment and doesn't carry Tachyon. Outside Slovakia and the Czech Republic, Planet Tachyon is the place to buy.
Questions on this topic
- Do I need to register on Planet Tachyon?
- The shop asks for your email and delivery address when you order. Whether it also wants a permanent account depends on its current setup, so go by what the checkout shows you.
- What currency do I pay in?
- You'll see the currency and the price including shipping in the cart before you pay. If you pay by card in a currency other than your own, your bank converts the amount at its own rate.
- Is there a discount code?
- Yes. The code SOKOL gives you 10% off your whole order. Enter it in the cart before you pay; one coupon applies per order. Details are on the Coupon SOKOL page.
