SOKOLTachyon is made by Advanced Tachyon Technologies in California, but a parcel to Vienna, Dublin or Leeds does not cross the ocean. For Europe the maker runs shop.planet-tachyon.com with a warehouse in the Netherlands, so your order travels much like one from any European online shop.
Where it ships from
Planet Tachyon states that orders from EU countries, Switzerland and the United Kingdom are handled through a bonded warehouse in the Netherlands. The goods are already in Europe when you order. According to the shop, an order number starting with 2 means the parcel ships from the Netherlands.
Prices in dollars, VAT included
The shop lists prices in US dollars, with Dutch VAT already included. There is no currency switch. If you pay by card in euros or pounds, your bank converts the amount at its own rate, just as it would on holiday abroad. Prices on this site come from the shop, each with the date we last checked it.
Free shipping over $99
Shipping is free once the subtotal after coupons and before VAT goes over $99. In the prices shown on the shop, that works out at about $120. The maker notes that oversized parcels can be an exception. Below that line, the cart shows the shipping cost before you pay.

When it arrives
Planet Tachyon states that it dispatches orders within 24 hours on working days. The shop picks the carrier, usually the local post or a courier, and you track the parcel with the number you receive by email.
EU countries
Your parcel leaves the Dutch warehouse with Dutch VAT already in the price. You see the full amount, including any shipping, at checkout before you pay.
United Kingdom and Switzerland
Orders to the UK and Switzerland go from the same warehouse, but the parcel crosses a customs border. Import duty and local VAT may be due on arrival, and the customer pays them. The shop also notes that the sterling silver chain is not sent to Switzerland. The maker keeps current terms on its Shipping and Returns page.
Returns
Planet Tachyon states that within 30 days it refunds the full amount, even for a used product, and from day 31 to 60 it issues store credit. Ask for a return number (RA) before sending anything back. Return postage is paid by the customer. The exact wording is on Shipping and Returns.
