What Tachyon is
Tachyon is the brand of Advanced Tachyon Technologies, founded in California by David Wagner. The company takes ordinary materials such as silicon, glass, crystal and fabric and treats them with its own patented process. Tachyon states that a treated object works like an antenna that draws in tachyon energy and radiates it into its surroundings. Put simply, every product is a carrier. You set a disk down, hang a pendant around your neck or slip a pad into your bed. The maker states that the object works on its own, with no battery or charging, and lasts for years.
How people use it
Tachyon usually finds its way into an ordinary day quietly:
- a silica disk under a water jug, on the bedside table or beneath a monitor,
- a small disk on the back of a phone,
- a pendant worn as everyday jewellery,
- a scarf or pad for winding down in the evening,
- a Cocoon or pad for a longer meditation lying down.

What to start with, by budget
Three ways in that we recommend when you are new to Tachyon:
- Around $50: the Silica disk 7.5 cm. The most versatile start, which you can set under a glass, slip into a bag or tape to a monitor. If you would rather have something to place on the body, look at the 35 mm micro disk.
