In the morning you fasten the chain and feel a small steel ball between your fingers, with a faint rustle as you move. Inside, tiny beads roll around, a bit like a baby's rattle, only much quieter. That's the pendant Tachyon sells as the Orb Pendant.
What it is
The pendant is a small capsule made of hypoallergenic stainless steel, roughly the size of a hazelnut. It measures about 23 × 15 mm, is 10 mm wide, and weighs 17 g without the chain. On top there's a gold-colored ring with an engraved inscription. The manufacturer notes that the text on the ring may differ from the photo in the shop.
Inside are tiny tachyonized beads. Tachyon says that as they bounce off each other, they create a field around the wearer that the company calls the Neo Field, and describes the pendant as a way to keep your energy up and stay in balance through the day. It's meant to be worn daily, and it's an easy way to have a Tachyon product on you all the time. What the company means by tachyonization is explained in What is a tachyon.
How people wear it
A chain comes in the box. It isn't tachyonized and the manufacturer doesn't cover it under warranty, so if you prefer your own chain or a leather cord, just move the pendant over.
Most people wear it all day, either under a T-shirt or on top like any other piece of jewelry. In the evening they take it off and leave it on the bedside table so it's ready in the morning. They take it off before showering or swimming, because the manufacturer recommends keeping the pendant dry.
Who it suits
The pendant suits people who want to wear Tachyon as jewelry. It's plain, with no stones, so it goes with work clothes as well as tracksuits. It also makes a nice gift for someone who knows Tachyon from home but doesn't have anything to wear yet.

Care
Keep the pendant dry, so shower and swim without it. Wipe it with a soft, dry cloth, and if fingerprints show on the steel, a light polish is all it needs. Store it separately so the ring doesn't rub against other jewelry.
