How to spot a genuine Tachyon product

How to recognize products from Advanced Tachyon Technologies, and what to watch out for with cheap marketplace listings.

Updated · Tomáš Sokol

Nobody owns the word "tachyon", and marketplaces are full of products that use it in their names. This site only covers products made by Advanced Tachyon Technologies (ATTI) of Santa Rosa, California, a company David Wagner founded in the 1990s.

How to recognize them

  • ATTI logo. The disks and most other products carry an "Advanced Tachyon Technologies" print with a triangle-shaped logo.
  • Seller. The manufacturer sells through its own shop, Planet Tachyon, and through a network of distributors. If you're not sure, ask the seller where the goods come from.
  • Price. A disk at a fraction of the manufacturer's price is suspicious. Compare it with the official shop.
  • Range. A product the manufacturer doesn't list most likely isn't made by it.
  • Material. The manufacturer's older materials say it only works with natural materials such as silica, glass, or metal. A plastic "tachyon" bracelet is therefore suspicious.

What genuine doesn't mean

A genuine product means ATTI made it. It doesn't mean it has the effects the manufacturer attributes to it. Those haven't been shown scientifically. More in What is a tachyon.
