Sleep and pads

You spend about a third of your life in the bedroom, mostly with the world switched off. That's one reason many people who know Tachyon start right here.

The Sleep Pad is a thin pad that goes under your sheet, much like a mattress cover. Tachyon says the tachyonized material inside creates a field around the whole body and helps you settle into deep, calm sleep. The Life-Pad is smaller and easy to carry. Put it on your office chair, on the car seat or under your head; the maker also describes it as a meditation pad. The Brain Balancer eye mask blocks out light like any travel mask, and Tachyon adds that it brings deep rest and a quieter, more balanced mind. The category also includes the Baby Sleep Pad for a cot and the newer Infinity pads, which are filled with tachyonized micro-beads.

How to choose

If you'd like to try Tachyon at night before committing, start with the mask. It's the smallest piece, packs into any bag and quickly tells you whether an evening ritual like this suits you. The Life-Pad sits in the middle, since you'll use it in bed and at your desk during the day. The Sleep Pad covers your whole body and is the piece you keep for good, which is why it's our premium pick. The Infinity pads are in the table with everything else.
