Tachyon energy, where it came from and how David Wagner describes it
What lies behind the term tachyon energy, how David Wagner and Gabriel Cousens describe it, how the first tachyonized disk came about, and why tachyonized materials are called antennas.

Perhaps you first heard the word one evening in front of the television. The crew of the Enterprise in Star Trek picks up a "tachyon field" on the screen, somebody on the bridge raises their voice, and the plot moves on. The word sounds scientific and a little mysterious, and most of us then put it away for years somewhere between black holes and time travel. Yet people talk about tachyon energy more and more often these days, even if it has not made its way into everyday vocabulary. Most connect it with physics or with outer space, and few could say exactly what it means.
Physics still lists the tachyon as a hypothetical particle, since nothing faster than light has been measured so far. To go deeper, it helps to start with a little theory. Where did the tachyon come from? What can it do for us? And how, according to the people who work with it, does it all work?
What tachyon energy is
At the end of the 1970s, physicists began talking about two phenomena that today stand in the background of this whole subject. The first was tachyon energy, the second zero-point energy. The word tachyon itself comes from the Greek ταχύς, pronounced tachys, meaning fast. It was first brought into scientific theory by the American physicist Gerald Feinberg in 1967, in his paper "Possibility of Faster-Than-Light Particles". Ideas about such particles had, however, appeared earlier in the history of physics, as we describe in the article on the physics of tachyons.
The classic description speaks of tachyons as particles that are everywhere and move faster than light. They have no frequency of their own, and according to David Wagner they cannot even be called energy in the true sense of the word. Zero-point energy, for its part, is present throughout the universe. It has no form, it is faster than light, and it carries within it the full potential of everything that can come into being.
The easiest way to picture this is an image that comes up again and again in the literature on Tachyon. Zero-point energy is the ocean, and the tachyon is a drop in that ocean. The drop is not the whole ocean, but it is made of the same water and carries its qualities.
According to this theory, the basic property of tachyons is that they meet forms which move more slowly than light. That covers practically everything we know on Earth, from a stone to our own bodies. In such an encounter, the tachyon acts as a catalyst: it does not change itself, but something gets going thanks to it. Wagner describes the result like this: the form draws from tachyon energy whatever it needs to reach a higher balance, both physical and spiritual.
As much as is needed
Wagner and Andreas Jell regard it as the greatest advantage of tachyon energy that it only supplies as much as is needed. It is a bit like a thirsty plant on the windowsill, which draws up from its saucer exactly the amount of water it lacks and leaves the rest. That is why they write that, used sensibly, it is fairly safe, and that unlike other forms of energy you cannot "overdose" on tachyons.
In his handbook, Jell also mentions that while using the products, stronger feelings and emotions may come up and want to be let out, or there may be a period when things in the body and in the mind gradually fall into place. Almost anyone can use tachyonized products, but both authors advise paying attention to how you feel at the moment and approaching the whole process intuitively. In their view, patience and a gradual approach help more than a sudden rush. If a difficulty has been building up for years, you cannot expect it to vanish overnight.
Thinking about this, a perfectly natural question comes up. If tachyon energy is all around us, it must have been at work since time began. So why would we need "extra" tachyons, and why are people talking about them now more than ever before?
How tachyonized products came to us
The answer begins with the story of one man. At the end of the 1980s, David Wagner, who later founded the company Advanced Tachyon Technologies, was left after an accident in a state where he could not work. As he tells it himself, the usual paths to recovery did not help him, so he turned to the field he understood best, experimental physics. Before that, he had been looking for alternative ways of powering engines using free energy, building on the experiments of Nikola Tesla. How Tesla's name is tied to the story of the tachyon is something we write about in the article History of tachyon research and Nikola Tesla.
Wagner tried to turn this knowledge towards the body. After several attempts that did not work out, he refined a process he called tachyonization. According to his description, it can turn certain natural materials into antennas for tachyon energy at a submolecular level. The first product was a silica disk, the Silica Disk, which he chose because silicon conducts so well. He managed to turn the disk into a permanent antenna for tachyon energy. Wagner says that this brought his strength back and that his discovery has since helped thousands of people around the world. According to the manufacturer, the company ATTI is still the only one making tachyonized products under this trademark, and the process is protected by a patent, which we cover in more detail in the article ATTI and David Wagner. You can see what such a disk looks like today on the page for the Silica Disk 7.5 cm.
What people use them for
From experimental physics, tachyonized products gradually found their way to people interested in alternative approaches to wellbeing, and became valued helpers for them. The way Wagner describes them already makes it clear that they can be used in many ways. Because they are universal by nature, people combine them with other ways of looking after themselves, so no list will ever be complete.
If we look at tachyons the way Wagner describes them, that is, as catalysts for the flow of energy in ordered forms, then in his view they can support the body's own processes of rest and renewal. People use them when they want to feel better in body and mind, when they need memory and focus, and many keep them close during meditation and spiritual growth. The manufacturer describes its products as aids for calm, for balance and for a pleasant atmosphere at home, and many people simply keep them around the house for that reason.
Who reaches for tachyonized products most often? Going by the manufacturer's experience, it is people who want to look after themselves and their families. Then there are those who work with energy professionally, such as therapists, acupuncturists, massage therapists, chiropractors and doctors. They also include people interested in healthy eating, dietary supplements or herbalism. They are often sought out, too, by people who spend their days in an office at the computer and want a pleasant place to work, and finally by anyone who is on a path of spiritual growth in whatever form.
How tachyon energy works according to the theory
Wagner and Cousens start from the idea that our body is not made only of the matter we can see and touch. It also includes subtle energy fields that the eye can barely make out. Every form has its own vibration, and it is the different speed of vibration that decides its colour, shape and firmness. Various teachings call these fields by different names and speak of the aura, of subtle bodies or of energy layers. What they have in common is that they are linked to the energy present everywhere around us, so everything is connected with everything else. These layers are covered in more detail in the article Holistic balancing system.
In the theory of tachyon energy, this connection is called the energy continuum. You can think of it as a tunnel or a field through which energy moves. All of this energy originally comes from a single point, which Wagner calls the point of zero energy. What links us to it through the energy continuum is tachyon energy. It has the same qualities as the zero point, with the one difference that it is structured. We go through the whole continuum in detail in the article What we know about tachyon energy.
What sets it apart from other known forms of energy, such as photon, orgone or radionic energy, is, according to Wagner, that none of them can influence it. Neither our thoughts, nor gravity, nor our feelings change the essence of how it works. It carries the full potential for a form to return to its original state.
Its effect shows most clearly in bringing order. Wagner sees this as the basic property of tachyon energy, the one that helps us come back into harmony with everything around us. An ordinary garden hose helps here. As long as it lies straight, the water flows freely and reaches the very last bed in the garden. Once it kinks somewhere, everything past that point stays dry, even with the tap turned on full. In the same way, the theory says, well-ordered structures let through the flow of energy that nourishes our bodies, plants, animals and all the other forms in the universe. Anyone looking for a way back to a healthy state should therefore, in Wagner's view, look for the causes of imbalance and for the places where things are blocked. The natural state is energy flowing freely in every direction.
Tachyon antennas
This brings us back to the question we asked earlier. What do we need tachyonized materials for, if tachyon energy is everywhere? Wagner answers with a comparison to antennas. Radio waves fill the whole room too, yet you only get sound out of them once you have a receiver with an aerial tuned to the right spot. Tachyonized products, he says, bring focused tachyon energy exactly to the places where the body, for various reasons, consciously or not, has blocked its natural supply of energy. The body then takes care of its own renewal, helped by the energy it receives this way. As a result, that place is connected once again to the source of all energy.
Wagner speaks of an energy that cannot be seen or measured with an instrument, and yet thousands of people have found tachyonized products and use them every day. From my own experience I can say that even though I do not know exactly how it works, it simply works for me. The best thing is to find out for yourself. If you are not sure where to begin, the product overview will help, along with a short guide on how to spot genuine products.

Questions on this topic
- Is a tachyon the same thing as tachyon energy?
- In physics, a tachyon is a hypothetical particle faster than light. Tachyon energy is a concept developed by David Wagner. In his view it is a structured energy that connects us with the so-called zero point.
- Can you have too much tachyon energy?
- According to Wagner and the handbook by Andreas Jell, no, because tachyon energy only supplies as much as a given form needs. At the same time they recommend taking things slowly and paying attention to how you feel at the moment.
- Why do we need tachyonized products if tachyon energy is everywhere?
- Wagner compares them to antennas. They gather tachyon energy and bring it exactly to the place that, for whatever reason, has blocked its own natural supply of energy.
