What they are
TLC Bars Deluxe are two solid bars with a shiny finish. The manufacturer calls them crystals. In shape and size they're a bit like a chunky highlighter pen or a stick of blackboard chalk: size M is about 7.5 × 3.5 × 3.5 cm. Each pair is made by hand, so individual pieces vary a little.
Tachyon counts them among its tools for practitioners and lists them in its shop as "The Practitioners Tools". The company says TLC Bars have been one of its standard tools for more than twenty years, and that graduates of the Tachyon Holistic Wellness course, which is taught in many languages around the world, work with them.
How to work with them
In massage, the therapist holds them in their hands and rests them on areas where the body feels tight, such as the shoulders, neck, or calves. For acupressure, you press gently on a specific point with the end of a bar. Tachyon describes them as a tool for releasing tension in stiff areas.
At home, people keep it simpler. Lie down or sit comfortably, take one bar in each palm, and just breathe calmly for a few minutes. It doesn't call for any special technique.

Care
Wipe them with a soft cloth. After a massage with oil, wipe them dry straight away so the oil doesn't set on the surface. If you drop them on a hard floor, the edges can chip, so keep them in a box or a cloth pouch.
