Ultra Cocoon vs Infinity 360 Cocoon, which one to choose
Tachyon's two Cocoons side by side. What they're made of, what they cost, how they're used, and who is better off with the established Ultra Cocoon or the new Infinity 360.

Picture two rooms. In the first, a folded wrap with disks sits on the bed, and every evening someone in the family lays it out for twenty minutes. The second is a treatment room where five clients come and go during the day, and one large soft cover lies on the table. Both rooms have a Tachyon Cocoon, just a different one. This guide helps you work out which belongs in yours.
The two Cocoons in brief
The Ultra Cocoon is the established set for relaxing lying down. It's made of two wraps with Aero-Fiber filling, four Ultra disks, an eye pillow and two cotton foot sleeves. You arrange the wrap around your head and torso, put the disks by your palms and the soles of your feet, and lie still for twenty minutes.
The Infinity 360 Cocoon is the new arrival from the Infinity line. According to the manufacturer, it's a single cover holding kilograms of tachyonized micro-beads that surrounds the whole body or part of it. There's nothing to assemble or switch on. You shape the cover with your hands, rather like a beanbag.
To borrow a kitchen comparison, the Ultra Cocoon is like a good set of knives you put together as you need them. The Infinity 360 is closer to a large professional mixer, which pays off where people cook every day.

What Tachyon says
Tachyon says the Ultra Cocoon is a 20-minute meditation system that surrounds you in a "three-dimensional sea of Tachyon" and supports calm, focus and deeper meditation. It counts the set among its most valued tools and describes it as the stronger version of the original Personal Cocoon.
For the Infinity 360, Tachyon says the Infinity line is the peak of its development so far. According to the manufacturer, the cover helps the body settle into deep relaxation and a state of coherence, meaning a calm and balanced state. Tachyon positions it as a professional tool that also makes sense at home.
When to choose the Ultra Cocoon
The Ultra Cocoon is a good choice if you want a Cocoon for yourself or your family and plan to use it a few times a week. The set routine for laying it out has a nice side effect: relaxation turns into a ritual with a clear start and finish, and that's easy to come back to. Twenty minutes also fits into a working day.
It's also the one to pick if you're just getting started with Tachyon, as it has been in the range longer and the manufacturer explains the setup step by step. The disks in the set are double-sided Ultra disks, so you don't need to think about which side faces your body.
When to choose the Infinity 360 Cocoon
The Infinity 360 makes sense where it will be used every day. A practitioner or massage therapist will use it with many clients, which spreads the high price. Clients find it easy, too, since there's nothing to put together. They lie down and the cover is settled around them.
At home it's worth it if you already know Tachyon, if several people will use it and if you'd rather have one large piece than lay out wraps. If you'd like to stay within the Infinity line on a smaller budget, look at the pads in the Sleep and pads category.
How to decide
The simplest question is who will use the Cocoon and how often. One person at home a few times a week will be well served by the Ultra Cocoon. A practice with clients every day is the natural home for the Infinity 360. Still undecided?
